Do you want to know how to make money? There are all kinds
of ways to make money, just look at all of the work at home offers you see
online. Do you have a skill that others could use? Do you have a product that
you can produce and sell? You can hang out your shingle and offer your product
or service to waiting customers.
Maybe you don’t have either of these. Peruse the work at
home ads. The important think is finding one that suits YOU. Decide if you want
to do cold calling door to door sales, or phone networking, live events, online
or any combination of these,
So now let’s say you have a product to sell. Your first
responsibility, even before you run one ad, or head out the door with high
hopes, is to learn. Learn ALL YOU CAN about the product and company you signed
up with. You want to be able to answer almost any question that may be asked of
you.
Now let’s say they’re car alarms. How do you market them?
You could go door to door and give your prospective customer your spiel about its

You’d probably get turned away over and over again.
Why? You have a good product or service, and you’ve
explained all of that. You need to look beyond the product or service. You need
to look at the benefits. Show your customers the need that will be filled, the
desire that will be fulfilled. What will the product do for your customers? If
you’re selling car alarms, do some research and find out how many auto thefts
have occurred in your area and give them that information. Are you selling
cosmetics? Appeal to the woman’s desires or the desire of her husband to make
her happy. Go beyond the product and promote the benefits.
If you’re not only selling a product online, but offering a
business opportunity such as an
MLM or affiliate offer, use an expert. Most of these type
of companies have videos made for you that talk about the company and what
it will do for you if you sign up. Watch these over and over to learn and USE
them to promote your own offer. Explain the buy in cost. Nobody likes
surprises. After you explain the opportunity, tell them the cost of signing up
and any monthly charges. Of course, also explain the potential for financial
gain. Don’t promise the world. All business requires work and no one will
become rich overnight.
